Nor’easter IV

For day 10 of #blogjune – the first snowflake for June

wpid-img_20140610_075359.jpg“Nor’easter IV” is the first snowflake for June in the Snowflake crochet-along and the last in the Nor’easter series in Caitlin Sainio’s 100 Snowflakes to crochet. I’d been thinking of using the tweedy snowflakes as Christmas decorations along with the tweedy Christmas balls but I fear this one is a little too big.

The snowflakes are designed for fine cotton yarn, but I love how they’re turning out in this tweedy yarn. This is a pale blue-grey colour called “Scree”.

  1. These snowflakes are so pretty Tony 🙂 If they’re too big for your tree, they’d make lovely window decorations.
