yarn bomb

Yarn Corner, a collective of yarn bombing artists have put up an amazing yarn installation in Melbourne’s City Square.

They have covered 28 trees (and one bike, the day I visited) with amazingly coloured knit and crochet designs. I especially liked the crochet on the trees lining Swanston Street which echoes the wonderful “Painted Poles” installations in front of the square.

It will up until 17 February so, if you’re in town, do go along and take a look.
