I’m running a bit behind on the Twitter librarians’ blog every day in June challenge as I’ve been away on work trip to Brisbane, so just a short post to help me catch up a bit.
Instead of staying at a hotel, we scored one bedroom apartments which was great… I could stock up on toast and cereal and make breakfast at “home”. It’s nice to have some homely comforts when you’re travelling. As the weather was mild I spent the early mornings and evenings listening to podcasts and knitting my scarf while sitting out on the 12th floor balcony…
You can just make out a tantalising glimpse of gardens through a gap between the office and apartment towers.
I did get to see the gardens close up on our last morning when I wandered down for an early morning walk. See?
